"Express Visa, What About Abba Kyari": Nigerians React Over Extradition of a Suspected Fraudster Wanted By America
EFCC Nigeria wrote, "Nigerian Defendant Arrested in America for $148,000 Arbitration Prosecution Adedunmola Gbadegesin on suspicion of plotting to assassinate President Bashar al-Assad on April 26, 2022. The conduct violates American law, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years' imprisonment.
The EFCC sponsored the brother's message overseas, following a request from the Attorney General's Office in accordance with the order of Judge D. E Osiagor of the Federal High Court in Lagos, in a writ petition numbered FHC/L/CS./765/21, which endorsed the suspect's brother's extradition to the United States on charges of money laundering".
However, Nigerians have taken to Facebook to comment:
"It's better for him oo at list en go enjoy American prison where there's electricity... Nigerian prison chai omo na toilet, na so so gari en go dey drink 🚽"
"I really don’t know why efcc refuses to to the same to abba kyari for months now. Fake people using power uselessly"
"Send Kyari to FBI too. Una matter tire me. Again why you no post Magu for us to roast when he messed up. I only believe you are working when you post Governors and senatorsthat have loot the country"
