Ms Esther Isaac Asuquo , a 21-year-old lady, has died  in a hotel in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. On February 25th 2022,  the deceased was said to have lodged in Room 901 at the Agete Hotel in the Gwarinpa area of the FCT. According to a Delta born activist Harrison Gwamnishu, her body was found lying on a blood-soaked bedsheet in the hotel room and her brother, Emmanuel, has now accused the hotel management and police of cover-up. Emmanuel, said to be her only surviving relative since their parents died years ago, accused the police of intimidating him to drop the case after he left Calabar for Abuja to ask questions about his sister’s death.  He claimed the police told him that his sister died a shameful death and they encouraged him to quietly bury her.  A woman by name called Nancy Nwaka living at no. 7 Gladys Adolor Street Asaba has been described by her husband as a very wicked woman for constantly maltreatment their housemaid and sent her outside to sleep.  "“If you brought police with you, I’d be very happy. I’ll take her and hand over to them. She has been maltreating this girl,” the husband said of his wife. “Take the girl home, no. Very wicked woman,” he added after concerned residents suggested that the police be involved.   At  about 12:18am, the residents banged on the gate of the compound she lives in Asaba, Delta state, when they found the maid outside by 12:18am and the man of the house answered the  door. He had earlier asked his wife about the whereabouts of the maid but she told him that the maid, she said she did not know so he assumed that she was sleeping inside. On Monday 28th March, 2022, s everal passengers boarded a 6pm train from Abuja to Kaduna and were attacked by bandits 30 minutes before entry into Kaduna.  The Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said eight corpses were recovered, 26 people were injured but were receiving treatment. He went futher to say, that  according to the record obtained from the Nigerian Railway Corporation, 362 persons boarded the train. According to a report submitted to the  Kaduna State Government by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), "a detailed passenger manifest for the Abuja-Kaduna train service AK9 which was attacked by terrorists on Monday showed that 398 passengers bought tickets for the trip, but 362 were validated as having boarded the train through the recognized turnstile. Oluwabamise Toyosi Ayanwole was a Nigerian 22 year old lady tailor who went to source for her daily bread, when the wind blew and her family never had her return back to them alive.  On February 26th 2022, while Bamise was on her way home it, she boarded a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bus with plate number 240257 from Chevron Bus-Stop Lagos Nigeria, going to Oshodi at about 7 p.m.  Bamise had a funny feeling as she observed that the driver did not pick any other passenger on the road. Bamise sent a voice message to a friend of hers airing her fears and was advised by her friend to drop at Oworonshoki bustop. A video in circulation confirms Bamise's fears about the lights in the BRT switched off and the deceased being the only passenger on board.
